Donald Trump, the incoming U.S. President, has ventured further into the digital collectibles realm with the launch of a limited-edition Bitcoin NFT collection. The “Trump Bitcoin Digital Trading Cards” marks his debut in the Bitcoin Ordinals ecosystem and is a notable continuation of his NFT journey.
Exclusive Release on Bitcoin Ordinals
The latest collection comprises just 119 cards, exclusively available to backers of Trump’s previous NFT offering. These NFTs are inscribed as Bitcoin Ordinals, a significant shift from earlier releases on Ethereum and Polygon.
Eligibility is restricted to those who purchased 100 NFTs from the January 2024 “Mugshot Edition” series. This premium collection adds exclusivity and rarity to its appeal, aligning with Trump’s reputation for generating buzz.
High-Value Listings on Magic Eden
As of now, 37 of the 119 cards have been minted, with the claim period open until January 31, 2025. Early listings on the Magic Eden marketplace showcase the collection’s hefty price tags. Cards are priced between 0.177 BTC (approximately $16,500) and 20 BTC (around $1.8 million).
This staggering valuation highlights the demand for Trump-associated digital assets, a trend seen in his previous ventures.
Trump’s NFT Legacy
The journey began in December 2022 with Trump’s first NFT collection, which generated over $24 million in sales and attracted more than 14,000 collectors, according to CryptoSlam.

In January 2024, the “Mugshot Edition” made headlines with its 200-card Ethereum-based collection, boasting over 6,500 holders. Later that year, the “America First” collection introduced perks like gold sneakers and VIP dinners but failed to replicate earlier successes.
The Road Ahead
The launch of Trump’s Bitcoin Ordinals collection underscores his ability to innovate and adapt within the NFT space. While his Ethereum and Polygon ventures laid the groundwork, this Bitcoin-focused initiative could redefine his digital legacy.
With limited supply, exclusive access, and premium pricing, the “Trump Bitcoin Digital Trading Cards” highlight the enduring appeal of celebrity-driven NFTs in a competitive market.
